Covenant\u00a0 Understanding\u00a0 vs\u00a0 Contract\u00a0 Thinking<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

Looking around today it’s easy to see\u00a0that\u00a0few people\u00a0understand what they are doing when they\u00a0enter into\u00a0 ‘Marriage’!<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Today most marriages\u00a0are built on contractual thinking which carries a performance guide, if you love me,\u00a0treat me right and make me happy then I’ll stay married to you;\u00a0but if you treat me dirty I’ll look for someone who will treat me right! These\u00a0conditions are unspoken but attached to many\u00a0of our vows none the less.\u00a0This kind of thinking gives us\u00a0a back door\u00a0escape route\u00a0for a quick get away when things really get tough!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

It’s sad to say but many of our Pastors and\u00a0leaders in our church building today have lost the understanding that it was God who designed marriage to be a\u00a0‘covenant until death’ <\/span>,<\/strong> and if you were to ask\u00a0those sitting\u00a0in their pews they couldn’t even tell you\u00a0what\u00a0the word ‘covenant’<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong> really means let alone the\u00a0power that backs it up!<\/span><\/p>\n

Ignorance<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>or lack of knowledge have caused us to\u00a0become<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>covenant breakers!<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our children and the society we live in today are now paying a\u00a0devastatingly high price for our ignorance. The Church at large no longer fears God or His power. They don’t know Him, His character, or His nature, or why our\u00a0 families are so important to Him. <\/span><\/p>\n

It’s God’s desire to reconcile and restore all things, especially our broken families because mom’s and dad’s were given a mandate by God to reflect His image to their children for the next generation!<\/span><\/p>\n

God not only can but is\u00a0willing and\u00a0able to\u00a0raise the\u00a0dead, especially our dead marriages because He designed marriage for this purpose to represent His image to our children. All He needs is for just one<\/strong> of the spouses in a marriage that has been broken down to humble themselves before Him, and be\u00a0available and willing\u00a0to stand in the gap for the other, so He can\u00a0bring the other\u00a0who is in rebellion back to their senses. He is able to\u00a0turn them\u00a0from their wicked ways and back into right standing with Him and the Father\u00a0again in answer to a praying spouse crying out to God on their behalf.\u00a0\u00a0Someone who is willing to fight the good fight for\u00a0their\u00a0sons or\u00a0daughters,\u00a0wives or husbands\u00a0who has been taken captive by the enemy.<\/span><\/p>\n

God\u00a0is able and wants to come\u00a0in and restore our families, our homes,\u00a0and our land back into His pristine order again.\u00a0This battle belongs to the Lord, but He\u00a0is calling\u00a0His church\u00a0to come stand in the gap with Him, and the ones standing to pray and proclaim what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to His people today because the enemy has come in like a flood\u00a0to destroy us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nehemiah 4:14<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethern,\u00a0your sons,\u00a0your daughters, your wives, and your houses” <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hosea 4:6-10\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because they rejected\u00a0knowledge, I also will reject you from being a priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God I also\u00a0will forget your children.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So what does entering into\u00a0<\/span>Covenant with God\u00a0 in your marriage <\/strong>mean then? <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It means God\u00a0will never leave you or forsake you no matter what trials or tribulations you\u00a0go through on your journey through life if you make Him your God!<\/strong>\u00a0 He\u00a0desires to help His people to be strong so that we can endure to the end and\u00a0grow in wisdom and understanding in who He is that dwells in us.\u00a0<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Now what is entering into a<\/span>\u00a0 “Contract thinking”\u00a0<\/span> mean?<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It means\u00a0that you are\u00a0both legally bound\u00a0to each other until\u00a0one of you\u00a0breaks the contract\u00a0you made in front of witnesses, by\u00a0what you either did or didn’t do,\u00a0it\u00a0all depends on\u00a0your performance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

People making contracts do it out of fear\u00a0that the other person might\u00a0not live up to their expectations so they hope by putting it out there in public they can hold their mate’s feat to the fire. Some come with unrealistic expectations that few would be able to live up to, most of these relationships are doom to fail from the start. \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Their selfish expectations is for their mate to\u00a0please them, comfort them, protect them, and not harm them.\u00a0 They expect them to do right at all times by their high standards so you can stay with them forever, but if you fail to keep up with these standards, you are toast.\u00a0God’s standards and desires\u00a0are not necessarily involved in their thinking at all!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

Moses law of divorce gave the Jews a loop hole to get out of the betrothal contract promise they had made in front of witnesses to sanctify their union and make it Holy unto God. But this divorce was only given to\u00a0those who could prove fornication took place with someone else.\u00a0 They believed they were justified in that their bride was no longer a virgin so no blood would be found on the marriage cloth, therefore unfit for a life long union.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

\u00a0Another\u00a0 example of a man made\u00a0“contract”<\/span><\/b>:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

If I sell you my van for $5,000 and you default on the agreement you made with me by paying me only $2,000. I\u00a0now have a loop hole in our legal contract to\u00a0make it\u00a0null and void. I can divorce myself from\u00a0this broken contract being justified in doing so.\u00a0 I give you back your $2,000.\u00a0I’m now free to make a new contract with someone else if I so choose, or I can make a brand new contract with you for $2,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n

An example of a God made “Covenant”<\/span><\/b>: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I make\u00a0a\u00a0Promise<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to you to give you my van <\/span>because I love you<\/span> so very much, but later I find out you\u00a0said or did something that hurt me so deeply that I feared<\/span> ever recovering from it, but being a person of integrity who loves the Lord I’m\u00a0now obliged to keep my ‘Word’ to you, and give you my van<\/span> because\u00a0of what I said, my promise wasn’t\u00a0on what you said, or did, but on what I said I would<\/b> do.<\/b><\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A Covenant says I will keep my word to you even to my own hurt, even though\u00a0I’m extremely unhappy with how I was treated by you. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As\u00a0a Christ follower, our ‘Word’ is our bond. God’s ways are higher than ours. To be like Christ I freely\u00a0make the choice to forgive you from my heart, by\u00a0choosing not to take on an offense against you out of\u00a0my love for God.\u00a0 I’ll\u00a0do what is right because\u00a0I love God, and you more than myself.\u00a0 I want\u00a0no conditions attached to my love, but of course\u00a0<\/span><\/span>I will\u00a0cry out to God in my hurt and anger seeking desperately \u00a0for\u00a0His help\u00a0to do this because on my own I would never be able to do it. I would need God’s\u00a0supernatural strength to overcome\u00a0my fleshly desire to get even with you for hurting me and\u00a0betraying me!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

God’s strength is what we\u00a0receive when we enter into a covenant with God almighty.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Covenants”<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>are different they are\u00a0something we enter into with God,\u00a0asking Him to\u00a0help us keep the<\/span> <\/span>“Sacred Vows”<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>we\u00a0make to each other.\u00a0Vows\u00a0only God can help us keep. We vowed never to leave the one we love\u00a0nor forsake them no matter what trials we\u00a0have to face until death do us part. <\/span>Without God’s intervention we would fail. But because God honours marriage He will help even those who don’t know Him or seek His help.<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

These\u00a0promises we Christians make are\u00a0not only witnessed\u00a0by God but\u00a0also\u00a0by our friends and family who have come to\u00a0celebrate what God has done in making you both\u00a0“One” in Him. Our friends and family\u00a0are suppose to\u00a0help us,\u00a0to\u00a0encouraging us in the Lord with their prayers\u00a0and support during\u00a0our good and bad times\u00a0so we can all endure to the end. If one fails to keep their promise, and\u00a0falls into the sin\u00a0of adultery\u00a0the others are suppose to\u00a0come and stand in the gap long side the\u00a0spouse who is hurting,\u00a0praying asking\u00a0God to\u00a0intervene and\u00a0restore love,\u00a0 forgiveness and trust back into this relationship again for the Lord’s sake and their children’s sake because our marriages are not about us alone, they are about the image of God to a lost and dying world!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The church is to encourage\u00a0the one\u00a0who has been wounded to turn to the Lord for\u00a0comfort, not to them for comfort. They need\u00a0God’s help\u00a0to\u00a0forgive their mate so they wont become bitter by taking on an offense feeling justified in doing so.\u00a0<\/span>The Holy Spirit will come long side\u00a0the broken and contrite one, to comfort them and do the\u00a0work in their hearts that will bring healing to this deep, deep\u00a0wound while He goes\u00a0after the spouse who has\u00a0gone astray, to chasten them,\u00a0and bring their prodigal back to their senses. This sometimes take years. Remember Yeshua\u00a0forgave the woman\u00a0caught in adultery, we are to forgive them too, but He also\u00a0told her to go and sin no more.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

God will empower\u00a0us if we are willing to forgive our\u00a0mates\u00a0who have broken our trust. He will help us to move\u00a0forward and not get stuck in bitterness and stinking thinking. If we are willing to let God direct our path during this horrible time He will lead us out of this dark place into\u00a0revelation light showing you the secrets of His covenant. This is a really good place to be, but not all are willing.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The body of Christ\u00a0needs to be there to\u00a0encourage\u00a0those who choose to walk it out with the Lord, while wrapping their arms of love around them to comfort them\u00a0so they\u00a0know they\u00a0are not suffering alone, while they wait upon God to heal their ravaged heart and their hope in the Lord to restore their families; but sad to say they are more likely going to hear some one tell them to divorce the bum, and get on with your life, and look for a godly man this time who will be faithful to them.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

We as Christ followers are not called to stone the adulterer, nor condemn them but call them to account gently but firmly. Pray for them, asking God to intervene to help\u00a0them turn\u00a0back from their wicked\u00a0ways so they can\u00a0be restored,\u00a0never give up on them. The whole body of Christ needs to stand in the gap supporting\u00a0the one\u00a0willing and desiring\u00a0for their family\u00a0to be restored. Never\u00a0give up on them.\u00a0Fight the good fight\u00a0with them.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

God is able to bring a\u00a0prodigal\u00a0back to\u00a0their senses. He\u00a0promises to chasten\u00a0those He calls His sons. He can humble them\u00a0and cause them to want to turn\u00a0back to Him again and His ways. I have witnessed this time and time again.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It was God who humbled\u00a0Gomer making her understand that she was better off with her first husband Hosea.\u00a0 He even sent Hosea\u00a0to buy her back at\u00a0the slave market where she was being sold as a sex slave. God’s call was for Hosea to stand in the gap with God Amighty because God knew Hosea’s heart was loyal to Him. We don’t know how many years it took for this to take, but Hosea being\u00a0faithful to his unfaithful wife was representing the Father’s heart to Israel. Hosea was willing and available for God’s use. Hosea became a eunuch for the sake of God’s kingdom glory. Is our love for God strong and courageous enough like Hosea’s to pay the price God might require of us so He\u00a0will be glorified?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2 Chronicles 16:9<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore I will hedge up her way with thorns and wall her in, so that she can not find her paths. She will chase her loves, but not over take them; Yes, she will seek them but not find them, then she will say, I will go and return to my first husband for then it was better for me than now. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hosea 2:6-7<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

God\u00a0wants to hold us\u00a0to the vows we make\u00a0so don’t say they were\u00a0made in error, because it was\u00a0God’s idea to make our\u00a0union ‘holy & binding’<\/strong> <\/span>not ours. Our happiness is\u00a0a by-product of our covenant,\u00a0not\u00a0a guarantee! <\/span><\/p>\n

God\u00a0requires\u00a0us\u00a0to humble ourselves daily. Acknowledging\u00a0that He is God,\u00a0and that we are not,\u00a0so that He can intervene on our behalf and strengthen us\u00a0against Satan’s evil schemes to kill and destroy us. God\u00a0wants to get the\u00a0glory through\u00a0our obedience. He wants\u00a0our children to grow up\u00a0knowing we serve a powerful Mighty God, and wants us to emulate godly life styles,\u00a0submitting easily\u00a0to God’s ways out of love for Him instead of following the ways of this world like most of us are emulating today. <\/span><\/p>\n

God’s plan<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

God\u00a0made\u00a0us\u00a0capable\u00a0of having a\u00a0deep personal intimate relationship with Him, and with\u00a0our spouses,\u00a0all at the same time if we let Him.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this<\/span>\u00a0‘sacred intimacy’<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of\u00a0one man and one\u00a0woman,\u00a0God desire is for us\u00a0to\u00a0multiply and\u00a0fill the earth with godly offspring that will reflect His image of unfailing\u00a0love to this lost and dying\u00a0world we live in. He\u00a0gets\u00a0great pleasure\u00a0out of watching our off spring doing the will of God generational. Our marriages were never meant to be\u00a0about us alone, but about God’s unfailing\u00a0love, and His intimate\u00a0involvement with\u00a0us, and our families eternally.<\/span><\/p>\n

In light of\u00a0what is happening in\u00a0society today, keeping your marriages loving and strong in the Lord has\u00a0truly become a sacred obligation. If we\u00a0truly love God with our whole heart\u00a0we won’t be\u00a0looking for a way out, even if our relationships are\u00a0dead in the water.\u00a0This\u00a0truly breaks God’s heart for\u00a0He\u00a0is able to soften the hardest of\u00a0hearts. All He needs is\u00a0for just\u00a0one spouse to come\u00a0humbly before Him and ask\u00a0Him to supernaturally intervene, even if a divorce has taken place. He can reconcile you\u00a0again. He can restore any breach we\u00a0make, and knit us back together\u00a0again so\u00a0His glory\u00a0will\u00a0be known to our children, and our grandchildren. He wants them to\u00a0be able\u00a0to take this\u00a0knowledge with them into their own future that our God is real and able to do the imposible. Our children\u00a0learn from watching us humble ourselves\u00a0and asking God for\u00a0His help.\u00a0 Nothing is lost and everything gained when we put our trust in\u00a0a God who is faithful and able, remember nothing is too hard for Him!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Even if a\u00a0wayward\u00a0 spouse has\u00a0entered into a ‘man authorized’ remarriage with\u00a0someone else, we have God’s\u00a0Word\u00a0on it that this is\u00a0unacceptable in His eyes. God calls it\u00a0adultery<\/span><\/strong><\/u> <\/span><\/span>not a marriage. Even if\u00a0your pastor or others in the church\u00a0call it a marriage, it is not!\u00a0 It is what God says it is!<\/span><\/p>\n

When a covenant spouse dies then and only then will God sanctify your relationship with someone else and call it a marriage, but first\u00a0you must confess your sin of adultery and repent of it and turn away from\u00a0any sexual activity. Then\u00a0ask God to make your relationship\u00a0‘one’ in Him and He will then sanctify your relationship and call it a marriage, then you can come together again in a holy sexual union. We are to do things God’s way not ours.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0There being\u00a0no one innocent, no not even one!\u00a0Yeshua\u00a0had to come, and\u00a0Praise God He did. He\u00a0loved us enough to come and show us The Way back to His Father by\u00a0giving us a brand new Covenant Promise that if we love God above all else, acknowledge our sin, humble ourselves, and\u00a0repent, His blood will wash us clean of all our sins and restore us back to wholeness again!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

This side of the cross even the sin of divorce,\u00a0or the sin of an\u00a0adulterous marriage can be forgiven. God will not\u00a0sanctify adultery\u00a0even if the so called church today\u00a0does.\u00a0We\u00a0must repent for taking on the world’s view in marriage. The ways of\u00a0God\u00a0may look too hard at\u00a0times, but when you look at the long term effects of what we are doing\u00a0to our children and\u00a0society\u00a0generational we\u00a0can no longer plead ‘ignorance’.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

It was\u00a0Agape Love<\/strong><\/span> that\u00a0broke Satan’s controlling power over us. W<\/span><\/span>e are now free to\u00a0follow Jesus and \u00a0love the way\u00a0He loves.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

We actually become\u00a0enemies to\u00a0the cross of Christ, when we are not willing to pick up our cross and lay down our lives on it and suffer\u00a0for His name’s sake, even though we know in our heads He\u00a0is worth it! I believe that’s because many of us don’t have a personal relationship with Christ so don’t really know Him. To know Him is to truly love Him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Many are saying “Lord,\u00a0 Lord”,<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong> but God says depart from me for I do not know you.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we\u00a0recognize our sinful state, and our need for God’s\u00a0<\/span>DNA<\/strong>\u00a0 power to\u00a0come dwell in us, then\u00a0we will have truly begun\u00a0our\u00a0journey\u00a0along His ancient path of obedient and sacrificial love.\u00a0No longer dead men walking around in the flesh, but\u00a0brand new living creatures letting\u00a0God\u00a0bring life back into our dry bones. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The same Spirit that dwelt\u00a0in Christ\u00a0lives in us, we are no longer separated from the Father,\u00a0but are one with Him in Christ<\/span>,<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0His Holy Spirit’s<\/strong> resurrection power<\/strong><\/span> lives within us to do the impossible.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Holy Spirit was assigned the task of bringing\u00a0us believers into this awareness. It is\u00a0His job to teach us all things\u00a0that pertain to life and godliness.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Some History on Covenants made in the past<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

Making Covenants<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span> <\/span><\/span>are\u00a0common in Eastern cultures even today, in some societies people will kill you if you break your\u00a0Sacred Word<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0that is how\u00a0serious\u00a0they take it\u00a0over there, for not all\u00a0 will let God deal with their rage! That’s why God specifically said, “Revenge is mine,” says the Lord!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

There are two different types of “Covenants”<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>eastern <\/span><\/span>people\u00a0enter into:<\/span><\/p>\n

1) One\u00a0made between two equal parties. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2) The other is made between a stronger party and a weaker\u00a0party. <\/span><\/p>\n

An example of the first type<\/strong>:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>can be made between two families amalgamating their families into a life time agreement through the marriage of their children. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

An example of the second type:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0can be made by a dominant warrior tribe to a weaker tribe, both promising each other something in return. The stronger one promises to protect the weaker tribe from their enemies with their very lives, while the weaker one promises to cook, grow their crops, and make their clothes etc., as they coexist with one another, intermarrying and becoming like one tribe. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

It was God who made\u00a0Marriage <\/strong><\/span>to be a Covenant <\/strong><\/span>between Him (being the\u00a0stronger one)\u00a0and two equal parties, one man with\u00a0one woman (the weaker). God\u00a0is a\u00a0witness to the Sacred Covenant Promises <\/strong><\/span>you\u00a0make\u00a0to one another unto death. He\u00a0promises to\u00a0enter in and\u00a0make you “one”.<\/strong><\/span> He\u00a0will\u00a0help you become strong whether\u00a0you believe in God or not, because God honours marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

God will never\u00a0enter into a sexually immoral types of relationships called\u00a0 “Porneia” in greek or “Zanah”<\/span> in hebrew<\/span>,\u00a0even if we call them a marriage. <\/span><\/p>\n

Porneia\/Zanah types of relationships are sexual active ones that don’t fit\u00a0with God’s approval or His\u00a0design for marriage therefore\u00a0they are “unlawful” in His eyes.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

An example of an unlawful type relationship is\u00a0found in Leviticus 18:6-18 these scriptures refers to\u00a0a homosexual,\u00a0common law,\u00a0incestuous, or\u00a0adulterous remarriage, these relationships are put together and authorized by\u00a0man not God.\u00a0Jesus\u00a0says we\u00a0are not to enter into these kinds of relationships because they are\u00a0sexually immoral, but\u00a0if we do enter into this type of relationship\u00a0it is good and lawful to get a divorce from them<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0God will not sanctify\u00a0adultery\u00a0even if we do, but once a covenant partner dies God will sanctify your adulterous relationship\u00a0and call it a marriage if you humbly bring it to Him for sanctification. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Romans 7:3<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

God\u00a0Almighty being\u00a0the stronger party, and\u00a0we being\u00a0the weaker party must get in line with the stronger party\u00a0so that we can keep our lawful promises we made to one another, even if only one of us is\u00a0willing God is able to\u00a0influence the other because he is able to soften\u00a0hardened hearts through chastening. As Christ followers\u00a0we must humble ourselves before God, acknowledge His ways\u00a0are higher and\u00a0Sovereign over ours!<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

His promises are Yes!<\/span> <\/strong>and Amen!<\/strong><\/span> They are written in scriptures for\u00a0us to read,\u00a0and\u00a0to study.<\/span><\/p>\n

A husband and wife can decide between themselves as to who will handle the\u00a0finances, or who will\u00a0do the grocery shopping etc, however our roles and responsibilities are mandated by God the stronger party, and they are not negotiable. A husband does not have the option\u00a0of whether he will love his wife as his own body,\u00a0he\u00a0is to love her as Christ loves the church, if he wants to please God that is. This means he\u00a0chooses to willing\u00a0humble himself and sacrifice his own selfishly desires\u00a0for\u00a0the sake of his wife as\u00a0Christ did for us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A husband\u00a0if he loves God will\u00a0choose\u00a0to be\u00a0considerate, and treat his wife\u00a0gently, because a man has the power physically\u00a0to do her great harm\u00a0if he wants to, she is not as strong as he is; a wife\u00a0can freely choose\u00a0to submit her love and respect to her husband as unto the Lord, even if\u00a0she thinks he\u00a0doesn’t deserves it at the time, but out of her love for God she will inquire of the Lord seeking His\u00a0wisdom in\u00a0how to deal with her husband when he misuses his authority, then address this\u00a0issue with him in a loving and respectful way. These things are mandated by God for His Kingdom purpose. It is not about what we want, but about what God wants!<\/span><\/p>\n

If a husband is physically abusive she in wisdom will\u00a0seek help from other\u00a0Christ followers she can trust who will be there for her. God will intervene on her behalf, and\u00a0God will deal with her husband. This may take awhile, but she and their children need to be\u00a0protected\u00a0and supported during this time by\u00a0Christ’s body<\/strong> here on earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0God knows a child looks to his or her parents and\u00a0views them as a God over them.\u00a0 A child is completely dependent on them for survival, because\u00a0 parents have\u00a0authority over them. <\/span><\/p>\n

How we treat our children is very important to God, because His reputation is at stake here! We can make God look good in their\u00a0eyes, or we can shatter His image to them and fill them with anger towards\u00a0us, and towards God. This is why God hates\u00a0divorce so much. It rips the heart right out of a child. A child can no longer trust us or believe God loves\u00a0them when we neglect,\u00a0abuses,\u00a0or abandoned them physically\u00a0in a\u00a0divorce, especially\u00a0through a\u00a0remarriage to someone else. <\/span><\/p>\n

Many adult children\u00a0still suffer from the effects of the betrayal and abandoned done to them as children by their parents when\u00a0their parents divorced. <\/span><\/p>\n

Many Jews\u00a0are still\u00a0suffering\u00a0the effects of\u00a0God divorcing Israel\u00a0even today due to their hardening their hearts and entering into\u00a0an unlawful relationships with other god’s.\u00a0 As a nation they are blind to the fact that God still loves them. They don’t understand that He already sent them\u00a0their long awaited Messiah. \u00a0Yeshua, His only begotten Son to be the final blood sacrifice they needed for their continual waywardness because He wanted to\u00a0restore them back to Himself,\u00a0but they rejected Yeshua in ignorance. They are still bound and struggle with\u00a0the consequences of the\u00a0Law of Moses\u00a0‘an eye for an eye.’<\/strong> Which brings death to them as sinners. <\/span><\/p>\n

The devil knows this, and that is why he is so busy ripping apart\u00a0families, churches, and nations\u00a0because\u00a0he is trying to keep us ignorant of the True\u00a0character and nature of\u00a0our God who sent\u00a0His Son\u00a0to\u00a0make a brand new blood<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 covenant\u00a0not only for Israel but for us all.\u00a0God didn’t want this divorce in fact He said He hates divorce, that’s why He\u00a0sent Yeshua to become sin for them. To eat up their sin in death so they could return joyfully. Yeshua’s blood<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0cure came to restore\u00a0all\u00a0those who seek forgiveness,\u00a0and repent, back to wholeness with His Abba Father again.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Yeshua\u00a0<\/span>came to die with that sole purpose in mind not to\u00a0destroy the law but to fulfill His\u00a0law (innocent blood<\/span><\/strong> needed to be spilt, on His marriage cloth but none could be found),\u00a0so Yeshua made away for the\u00a0 Jews to come\u00a0 freely back to the Father\u00a0again. But once the fullness of the gentiles\u00a0comes in, the\u00a0veil will be\u00a0removed\u00a0from their blind eyes and they\u00a0will look upon the one they pierced and weep realizing their Messiah\u00a0didn’t come to condemn them\u00a0for what they did. He came out of His amazing Love it was\u00a0the only means He had\u00a0to restore them and He did it willingly.

Did you\u00a0notice right after\u00a0Jesus spoke on the subject of divorce,\u00a0He\u00a0then talks about the children<\/span>\u00a0in<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

When we as Christ followers finally wake up to\u00a0the understanding of what our one-flesh entity\u00a0in Christ really looks like, we will\u00a0move easily as one perfect man in Christ, responding completely to Christ’s headship over us,\u00a0fully\u00a0mature, fully developed within and without,\u00a0 fully alive in Christ having His very breath and blood flowing through all our innermost parts then the power of . . . <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This one-flesh Covenant relationship will emulate the Father’s unfailing love through\u00a0us to all.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Jews will become jealous\u00a0when they see what we have in\u00a0Christ’s resurrection power living in us they\u00a0will want to know what we have\u00a0and come seeking to join up with us\u00a0as\u00a0ONE\u00a0NEW\u00a0MAN\u00a0in Christ recognizing their Messiah has come and then they\u00a0will be\u00a0teach many what they need to know as they are the root of this tree of life that\u00a0God\u00a0has grafted us into. <\/span><\/p>\n

This will\u00a0surly bring<\/span>\u00a0Christ’s glory to a lost and\u00a0dying world!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That’s why covenant breakers are so destructive to the Kingdom of God, and why it makes the work that much harder for those who are trying to bring the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ’s unfailing love to those who are lost. <\/span><\/p>\n

When the world can’t see Christ’s\u00a0kind of love emulated and flowing through us born again believers<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>they are not convinced that Jesus<\/strong> <\/span>lives in us, or\u00a0them. <\/span>We must repent of our wicked ways of divorcing and remarrying. We must repent, or continue to let our children,\u00a0and others in the body of Christ pay the price for our rebellion toward God and His ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

If God didn’t spare the Jews from going through the\u00a0holocaust,\u00a0He wont spare us from the persecution that is coming either, but will use it to cleanse us of all our wickedness, so when our lips\u00a0say, “Lord,\u00a0 Lord”<\/span>\u00a0 we will mean it.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0We will repent! God will see to that. . <\/span><\/b><\/span>f<\/span><\/span>or He promised to cleanse His house first. Every knee will bow, and ever tongue will confess that <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Father’s\u00a0<\/span><\/span>love will not\u00a0allow\u00a0His Son’s Blood Sacrifice\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>to be trampled upon much longer, especially by\u00a0His\u00a0own people whom He loves very much! We must repent or be chastened like the Jews who are still suffering persecution\u00a0today!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
