What marry\u00a0a prostitute??? This was unheard of. <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God<\/span><\/strong> told him he was to marry Gomer because she was to represented Israel to His people who had\u00a0gone astray by whoring after other gods. This was indeed a strange request, but Hosea obeyed God out of his love for HIM and his own people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">It wasn&#8217;t long after their marriage she gave birth to their first child, a son, whom\u00a0God named Jezreel; representing His desire to punish the house of Jehu putting and end to the kingdom of the house of Israel. After a bit Gomer true to her nature went a whoring\u00a0and managed to conceive\u00a0two more\u00a0children, a daughter with a name meaning &#8220;No Mercy&#8221; and a son with a name meaning &#8220;Not My People&#8221; so named by God because her actions cast doubt on who their fathers might be. This must have been very hard on a man like Hosea, very embarrassing and humiliating to say the least.\u00a0\u00a0Hosea\u00a0was forced to rebuke his wife\u00a0for\u00a0her adulterous ways when it became public, and in so doing God\u00a0spoke\u00a0to the house of Judah,\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #400000; font-family: Papyrus;\"><strong>&#8220;Rebuke your mother, ( Israel ) rebuke her, for she is not my wife,\u00a0and I am not her husband. Let her remove the adulterous look from her face, and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts otherwise I will strip her naked and make her as bare as on the day she was born.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">Empowered by <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God, Hosea<\/span><\/strong> was able to love his wife\u00a0despite her immorality so wept openly when\u00a0she left him and their three young children after his public rebuke of her. Hosea&#8217;s heart was desperately and truly broken. Rumors ran rampant. Gomer\u00a0was probably more than glad to leave Hosea. She probably hated being tied down with a bunch of kids, because it didn&#8217;t particularly excite her as an attractive\u00a0life style. And people being human were eager to\u00a0report any\u00a0gossip they were hearing about Gomer, like who she was involved with, and who was buying her\u00a0luxuries she could ill afford, so they could report back to others the latest gossip. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">Hosea&#8217;s wounds went deep, and every night\u00a0his pillow became saturated\u00a0with his many tears for his wife, his children, and for Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">Gomer had gone into a society filled with\u00a0corruption, violence,\u00a0lying, and stealing, into\u00a0 a world where the worship of other gods was the\u00a0norm. She thought it was a lot more fun, certainly more lucrative. She didn&#8217;t\u00a0give\u00a0a thought to\u00a0those she left behind, having hardened her heart to their cries. She went seeking\u00a0her own happiness at their expense.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Papyrus;\"><strong>Read\u00a0what God said to Israel in Hosea 2:2-23<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\">Many\u00a0of us\u00a0in the church are\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #400000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Papyrus;\"><span style=\"color: #400000; font-size: small;\">AWAKENING<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Times New Roman Special G1;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\">to\u00a0this fact now that this same spirit\u00a0of self gratification has now permeated into the body of Christ. We would have to be blind not to see\u00a0the long term damaging effects\u00a0this selfish\u00a0lifestyle of ours is having\u00a0on:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Times New Roman Special G1;\"><span style=\"color: #400000; font-family: Papyrus;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Jesus\u00a0Holy Name,\u00a0 the body of Christ,\u00a0 and\u00a0on our next generation.<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">Everyone is\u00a0being affected by\u00a0this new modern culture of\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\"> &#8220;divorce and remarriage&#8221;.<\/span> <\/span>This <span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;covenant breaking&#8221;<\/span> lifestyle\u00a0has not only become obvious in the last 60 years , but it is\u00a0now being flaunted in\u00a0our\u00a0churches.\u00a0<strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 18pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Where is our\u00a0fear of You Lord!!!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">\u00a0We God&#8217;s own people must wake up to the fact that they have been deceived. &#8220;<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Covenant Breaking<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8221; is nothing but a diabolical scheme designed by Satan to\u00a0destroy the\u00a0image of <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\">God&#8217;s faithfulness<\/span><\/strong> not only to our children, but to the world who is watching us. Many in the church has lost\u00a0the\u00a0true understanding of what <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God&#8217;s\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">commandment to love to<\/span><\/span> one another is all about.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Hosea<\/span><\/strong> said <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>God&#8217;s people<\/strong> <\/span>would\u00a0be destroyed\u00a0for lack of knowledge. The church I&#8217;m sorry to say is being destroyed for not understanding that <span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;<span style=\"font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">faithfulness in the sight of unfaithfulness<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">&#8220;<\/span> is not natural, it is\u00a0supernatural. You really need <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God&#8217;s heart\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>to walk in this kind of love.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">But this\u00a0<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">&#8220;Kind\u00a0 of\u00a0 Love&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">is what God requires of His people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">True love is an action not a feeling. You become<strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\"> &#8220;a living sacrifice&#8221;<\/span><\/strong> it means you lay down your selfish life style and desires,\u00a0so that you can\u00a0live for others,\u00a0this kind of love\u00a0produces <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>God&#8217;s Power\u00a0 to come into action. <\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Romans 12;1-2<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\"> <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God is able<\/span><\/strong> to reconcile and restore whole families\u00a0back to himself if we repent of our wicked ways, and\u00a0humble ourselves before Him.\u00a0Many who say they love <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Jesus<\/span> <\/strong>are really enemies to the cross of Christ\u00a0they say &#8220;No, I don&#8217;t wont to pick up this cross\u00a0it is too heavy, this way is too narrow and too hard. It requires long suffering,\u00a0and the cost is too great. &#8220;I can&#8217;t do it&#8221;. Of course you can&#8217;t do it, you need <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>God&#8217;s help and agape love for God to do it through you! You just need to be willing like Hosea was.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #400000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\">I believe that many who are\u00a0not\u00a0willing\u00a0to\u00a0go the distance God might require of them in their marriages is because they\u00a0see themselves as grasshoppers in their own eyes. They don&#8217;t know how much <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God<\/span><\/strong> loves them, or understand that when they accepted Christ as their Saviour they have entered into a &#8221; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Papyrus;\"><strong>Blood <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Papyrus;\"><strong>Covenan<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Papyrus;\"><strong>t &#8220;<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #400000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Papyrus;\"> <span style=\"font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">arrangement with <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the Lord God Almighty<\/span> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium; font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">not the\u00a0mail man down the street. <span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>God is able<\/strong> <\/span>to restore all things back to His pristine order, but<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> He<\/span> wants to work with us to do it so <span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">He <\/span>will get the glory because the world knows we can&#8217;t do it on our own.!!!<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #400000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\">In desperation the Body of Christ must cry out like <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>Hosea<\/strong> <\/span>did to our Lord for mercy! We\u00a0are like dumb sheep\u00a0who have gone astray, we&#8217;ve hardened our\u00a0hearts\u00a0to God&#8217;s perfect way of doing things, and in our stinky thinking we&#8217;ve adopted\u00a0the ways of the world instead. Dumb sheep like we are. We must repent of our wicked ways.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">Father, forgive us for we don&#8217;t know what we are doing. We have become dull in our thinking. We have taken apart what You commanded us not to take apart. We&#8217;ve messed around with <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>Your Covenant boundary stones<\/strong><\/span> that You put in place around the marriage bed to protect our children and grandchildren and <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Your Holy Name. You<\/span> <\/strong>called it holy but me treat it as common like the world does. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">Did we think You wouldn&#8217;t\u00a0notice?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Teach us again Lord about Your<\/span> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #400000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Papyrus;\"><strong>Eternal Covenant<\/strong> <strong>ways which are so much higher than our ways !!!<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">Gomer found sin\u00a0fun for a while, but she soon found out like we all do that there is a heavy price we pay when we disobey <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God.<\/span><\/strong> The church pays corporately when we separate ourselves from <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\">God&#8217;s eternal\u00a0ways.<\/span> <\/strong>The price is spiritual death to our body, mind, soul and spirit. If any of us get wisdom we will\u00a0acknowledge our wrong doing,\u00a0and turn away from this wicked idolatry before <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\">God<\/span><\/strong> has to come\u00a0and deal with\u00a0us corporately like He did with Israel.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">God will freely forgive us once\u00a0we genuinely repent, because He is faithful even to those\u00a0who are unfaithful. His\u00a0blood\u00a0is strong enough to\u00a0wash us\u00a0clean and restore us back into\u00a0right standing with Him again, so we can\u00a0begin anew. That&#8217;s His nature, His very character, because <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>He<\/strong>\u00a0 <strong>and His ways<\/strong> <\/span>will not be mocked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">His love is devastating<\/span><\/strong>,<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">it\u00a0will bring us all to our knees so\u00a0 &#8220;Repent quickly from our adulterous life styles&#8221; it&#8217;s our only way back to <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>Him.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">All we have to do is\u00a0humble ourselves\u00a0in gratitude to <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">JESUS<\/span><\/strong> unfailing &#8216;Covenant of Love&#8217;, which is nothing like the old covenant.\u00a0 Accept <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\">God&#8217;s promise<\/span><\/strong> that we belong to Him eternally. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">This promise was made first\u00a0to\u00a0Israel, but now<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\"> Yeshua final <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\">Blood Sacrifice<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\"> belongs to all who believe and obey!!!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Papyrus; font-size: large;\">God&#8217;s Words of\u00a0rebuke<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0through the prophet <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Hosea<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0the house of Israel,\u00a0was\u00a0not all <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God<\/span><\/strong> had to say.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Hosea\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>went on to\u00a0prophesy about Israel&#8217;s\u00a0redemption and restoration, <span style=\"font-family: papyrus; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><u>if<\/u><\/strong><\/span> they\u00a0would return\u00a0to the Lord, but instead of listening and taking heart to what<span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>\u00a0Hosea<\/strong><\/span> was saying, Judah like many in the church today ignored God&#8217;s warning, we too now have became embroiled in\u00a0temple worship that is promoting explicit sexual acts\u00a0unto\u00a0other\u00a0gods, even to the point of sacrificing our children on the altar&#8217;s of Molech. Like many of us are doing today by\u00a0the practice\u00a0of abortion, divorce and remarriage. We\u00a0are\u00a0in essence putting our\u00a0children through the fire, offering them up as a sacrifice,\u00a0hoping to prosper at their expense. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">God&#8217;s<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0heart is truly broken over this, for <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>He<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0never meant for this to happen!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #400000; font-family: Papyrus;\"><strong><u><span style=\"color: #400000; font-size: medium;\">Jeremiah 3:8<\/span><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;\">adds<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">, &#8220;And I saw, when for all their causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorcement; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not,\u00a0went and played the harlot also.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These <span style=\"color: #400000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #400000; font-family: Papyrus;\">Prophetic Words of Rebuke<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">still ring\u00a0true today to all us backsliders. The bible tells us of how Gomer\u00a0was brought\u00a0low in humility,\u00a0striped naked, and\u00a0sold as a\u00a0sex slave to anyone\u00a0that would have her. Then when all seamed lost God told <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>Hosea<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">to go get\u00a0her\u00a0back, and love her again. Which <span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\"><strong>Hosea<\/strong><\/span> did, he paid the slave price\u00a0then\u00a0told her she would be living with\u00a0him again, but this time there would be\u00a0no more whoring around. He was not only her husband, he now\u00a0owned her body and soul. Especially to those who practice homosexuality. We&#8217;ve not been salt and light only because we look too much like the world. We&#8217;re\u00a0called to be different, set apart from the world, to live our lives\u00a0pleasing to the Lord! But sadly\u00a0we&#8217;ve\u00a0hardened our hearts, and live to please ourselves\u00a0instead, having lost our salty flavour no longer worthy of being called Christians.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Georgia;\">We are\u00a0told to\u00a0love our neighbours,\u00a0God\u00a0warned us not to covet their wives, or husbands, so\u00a0if we don&#8217;t know how to\u00a0love\u00a0our own wives and children, or our\u00a0neighbours properly whom we\u00a0do know,\u00a0how then are we going to love our enemies? <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">We are guilty <strong><span style=\"font-family: papyrus;\">Lord<\/span>,<\/strong> we&#8217;ve\u00a0turned Your house of prayer into a house of prostitution! A place where Gomer would feel right at home.
